Ladybug Designs is a Canadian company based at 1110 French Settlement Road, Kemptville, Ontario. We handle personal information in line with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA). This page explains what that means in practice for visitors to ladybugdesigns.ca.
What we collect
When you fill out our contact form, we collect your name, email address, and message, plus your phone number and company name if you choose to share them. That's it. We use this information to respond to you and to prepare the quote or answer you asked for.
Like most websites, we also use Google Analytics to understand how people use the site (pages visited, general location, device type), and Cloudflare Turnstile on our contact form to block spam. Both involve cookies or similar technology. Neither gives us your identity; the analytics data we see is aggregated.
What we do with it
We use your contact information to reply to your inquiry and, if you become a client, to manage your account and orders. We do not sell personal information, rent it, or share it with anyone for their marketing. The only third parties that touch your data are the service providers that make the site work (our hosting provider, Google Analytics, and Cloudflare), each under their own privacy commitments.
For clients running employee stores or school stores with us, the personal information handled inside those programs (like employee names and shipping addresses) is governed by our agreement with your organization. It belongs to your organization, and it is used only to run your program.
How long we keep it
We keep contact inquiries as long as we need them to serve you, and we delete information that no longer has a business purpose. Client program data is retained per the client agreement and can be exported or destroyed at contract end.
Your rights
You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to info@ladybugdesigns.ca or call 613-415-6852 and we will sort it out. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
