About us
Canadian-made quality, personal service, fully managed programs
Our story
Ladybug Designs started with a simple idea: branded merchandise should be accessible to everyone, not just large corporations with big budgets. Co-founded in 2023 by Jennifer and Jean-François (J.F.) Larente in Kemptville, Ontario, the company began as a small decorated apparel business and grew into a full-service promotional products partner serving clients across Canada.
Today we work with school boards, enterprise HR teams, small businesses, event coordinators, and marketing leaders who need a partner they can trust to deliver quality products on time. Whether it's one custom hoodie or a nationwide employee rewards program with thousands of recipients, every order gets the same attention.

Jennifer Larente Co-founder & Owner
J.F. Larente Co-founder & Director of Business Development
Jennifer Larente is the creative brain of Ladybug Designs. Clients often arrive with half an idea and a blurry logo; she turns that into something better than what they pictured. She is also the quality bar behind everything that leaves the building: if an order doesn't look right to her, it doesn't ship.
Jean-François (J.F.) Larente leads business development and builds the technical infrastructure behind Ladybug Designs, from hosted store platforms and order management to fulfillment workflows. That foundation has been key to supporting the company's significant growth without sacrificing the personal service clients rely on. A native French speaker, J.F. ensures our bilingual clients receive service in the language they prefer.

What guides us
Approachability
We are friendly, welcoming, and make it easy for clients of any size to work with us. We have done orders of one, and we have explained what DTF means more times than we can count.
Reliability
We deliver consistent, high-quality results. When we commit to a deadline, we meet it. We're a small team, so quality is personal. We know every order that goes out the door, and that is exactly how we want it.
Memorability
We create products and experiences that leave a lasting impression. From the unboxing moment to the daily use, our goal is merchandise people are proud to wear and keep.
Flexibility
Every client is different. We adapt our services, pricing, and processes to match your needs, whether you are a startup ordering 25 t-shirts or an enterprise managing a national program.
OECM supplier partner
Ladybug Designs is an OECM supplier partner providing marketing and promotional products and related services through OECM's Marketplace. We were selected through a competitive sourcing process that complies with the BPS Procurement Directive.
For Ontario school boards, colleges, universities, hospitals, municipalities, and other publicly funded organizations, this means you can work with us directly without running a separate competitive procurement. Learn what OECM approval means for your procurement.
